Description of the problem:
The study has X used credits and Y available credits. Data collection for this study is finished. I’d like to move available credits for use in a different study. I tried the following with no success:
changing study status to inactive - available credits remain reserved for inactive studies.
deleting study - my last resort which might solve the problem but I’d like to avoid study deletion.
Running Mode → Credit section has two buttons: ‘update assigned’ and ‘release reserve credits’. They are of no use. It’s the number of available credits that need to go down and there’s no option for that.
ARCHIVE project - I archived study and nothing changed, the archived study is unavailable and unsearchable but it still swallowed my available credits.
Thanks for any suggestions and help on how I may salvage my available credits.
Following up on my earlier post - I additionally need to reduce available credits to 75 for another ongoing study: Pavlovia
It’d be very helpful to have such functionality/flexibility. My search through forum’s posts suggests that it needs to be done manually by Psychopy/Pavlovia staff.
If you are the study owner you should be able to reduce the number of assigned credits.
Drag the bar to reduce the number of assigned credits then click update assigned credits. Available credits are the number you’ve bought available to assign to projects.
Thanks - but that’s not what I asked. I need to reduce the number of available credits. The available credits for the specific study are not the assigned credits which I indeed can change easily. An illustrative example: a specific study may have 500 available credits, out of which 100 is assigned and used, and 0 is reserved. The owner of the study can change assigned credits easily to a different value up to 500, but they cannot close the study and transfer 400 available and unused credits to another study.
