Hi, I hope you are well. My experiment crazhes whenever I run it on browser but it works well in desktop. I was wondering if there is a way I can have a link or generate one so that my participants can complete it through desktop because it crashes in browser where I can get one.
To have your participants run the desktop version you would need to ask them to install PsychoPy and then send them the experiment files.
Alternatively, you could try to solve the error in your PsyvhoJS version. Are there a lot of large media files?
No, I do not have any large files. I have images that are not more than 50kb each, and exe+cel files that are around 9kb each.
Also, I use the 2024.1.4 version of psychopy

I went and I changed the images that were cassing the crush from jpg to png, and they are still not running in browser but in desktop 
Did you add them in Experiment Settings/Online/Additional Resources?
Hi, No. I had only changed the images from jpg to png and then I went ahead and tried running the experiment (after resaving everything and ensutred that the new names metch everything thats already in the experiment).
But do you mean here? Also, do I add them one by one? Like all my images? Each one in its exact ‘place’? Basically, I have a target file and a distractor file, and they both have their own routines. So, do I add each image in its own Experiment settings/online/additional resource?
Good day. I went back and changed the images to png from jpg. And then I saved the experiment again. I also synched it in pavlovia. After doing that, it crashed again. But I stopped for a little while, and then when I piloted it again on Pavlovia it worked. I think the problem was that I was solving the issue as advised, but I was working on it right after. So, basically, it is now working perfectly well and I am able to run it using the link. I only need to insert some credits and then begin with everything. Thank you so much. I genuinely appreciate the assistance.
