Tobii Eye Tracker - Does it compatible with Psychopy?

We intend to purchase an eye tracker for our lab.

We are currently interested in Tobii Eye Tracker 5 or Tobii Eye Tracker 4C.

Since I have no experience combining utilities using Psychopy, we would love to know if those tobii’s eye trackers are compatible with psychopy.

But I did not get confidence whether the eye trackers could fit into the software.

Yes Tobii is compatible with PsychoPy out of box.

Hi, note that the 4c in off the shelf format is not compatible, and would need an upgrade key to unlock the professional data streams and use the SDK used in PsychoPy. The device is a gaming / consumer device and has smoothing and filtering on the data for a smooth interaction experience and is not recommended for research even with the unlock key, plus the unit is discontinued. The ET5 is also a consumer gaming device and cannot be used for research purposes and uses a different SDK so isn’t compatible. This is also configured for smoothed data for gaming interaction so wouldn’t be a sensible choice for research even if it could be used.
