"Thank you for your patience" message

URL of experiment:

Description of the problem: A participant of mine just told me she clicked on the link I gave her and after the demographic form, she saw a blank screen followed by a “Thank you for your patience” message, but the experiment never started. I tried the same link and it worked just fine. Any idea on what the “Thank you for your patience” message is about? I had never seen it before.

What was supposed to come next?
Did she try again?

Is there anything that might have caused the experiment to end early?

Do you have an ending screen?

What are the possible responses to the last screen she saw and the first screen she didn’t?

What was supposed to come next? - The experiment (the instructions screen)
Did she try again? - Yes

Is there anything that might have caused the experiment to end early? - That is exactly what I am asking

Do you have an ending screen? - Yes, a “thank you” note

What are the possible responses to the last screen she saw and the first screen she didn’t?
-Last: click on OK in the demographic form
-First: Space bar in the instructions screen

Thanks. That puts pay to all of my theories (other than a sticky escape key)

Do you have any code that can abort the experiment other than the Escape key?

I don’t have any code related to the escape key, but they are allowed to press “esc” at anytime (I ticked the box).
