Survey Complete page markup not working when ran/ piloted

I have a Pavlovia survey displaying my study debrief at the end of my study—the survey runs fine. I have checked the “Show Survey Complete page” box in the Survey Complete tab, and there is content in the page markup box. However, when I run/pilot my study, it redirects to a blank page once the participants click “complete.”

I can see the complete survey message on the preview tab. Is there potentially a bug preventing this from showing when it’s being run/ piloted?

I have a similar problem. Have you found any solution?

I’ve just raised a similar question but about logic not being followed but was related to the survey end (see post here).

I found by changing the survey to run on 2024.1.0 (rather than automatic selected 2024.2.0) my problems were resolved.

On the Overview tab, just above where your URL to share with participants is, you should see a drop down box and be able to change versions.

I don’t know why or how it works, but it solved my problems (my forum post was asking why it works), hope it helps yours.

Hi Izzy!

I just found the same solution. My logic seems to be working when I run it on 2024.01 but my end of survey message is still not displayed. To be precise, the message is displayed but for such a short time frame that it’s impossible to read it.

How I solved this is that I just created a pdf in my Onedrive with my end of survey message and created a link for anyone to access this pdf. I then used this link as my end of survey URL. Maybe that can help someone else as well.

I’ve just found that the survey complete page will stay if you launch with the original URL.
