It is a bit more serious for me than that unfortunately!
I’ve coded an experiment in Builder version 2023.2.3, but I decided to run it in 2022.2.5 (using the experiment settings) because of the error described in the post below which hasn’t been resolved:
I built the experiment on my laptop (Windows 10) and have now moved to a separate computer (Windows 7) with an eye tracker to actually run the experiment. However, when I run it (on the actual 2022.2.3 Builder, but in version 2022.2.5 using experiment settings), I get this error message:
ValueError: Unknown version ‘2022.2.5’
Therefore, it seems that I can’t run the experiment on any older versions of PsychoPy on this computer (using the experiment settings). In fact, no other versions even come up as an option in the experiment settings. The only option in experiment settings is 2023.2.3.
To address this, I directly downloaded the 2022.2.5 Builder via the .exe file and uninstalled the 2023.2.3 program. I then tried to run the experiment, but received the error described above. Then, after seeing:
INFO Loaded monitor calibration from [‘2019_10_25 15:41’]
Nothing happens! I press the green play button, but the Experiment Settings box (with version, participant number, etc) never appears.
Any thoughts? Your help would be hugely appreciated!
