Hello all, I have been getting the error below, i have tried every solution i can see in other threads with no

success and the same error popping up. I have remade my experiment multiple times and it’s the same every time. I need to run experiment online for masters study. Need images to be recognised resources when running or piloting the experiment.

Here is the most relevant thread i found but sadly this did not work either.

I have also tried each of the recommended solutions on the Psychopy website for unknown errors but without success.

I have also tried changing the \ to / but still the same error.

Hello @Gavin_Whitelaw

You must use / in an online experiment as you already do. It is most likely a typo of some kind. File name and file extension must use the same upper and lower case letters.

  • Does the experiment run when you run it offline?
  • I notice that the two error messages indicate two different image folders. That is in principle no problem but does your condition file reflect this?
  • How do you refer to the images? What does your condition file look like?
  • Do you have trailing spaces in your filenames? Search and replace for space in your condition file.
  • Does the error always occur the same image (turn off randomization) or is it the first image your experiment (when randomization is turned on)?
  • The images are successfully uploaded?

Best wishes Jens
