I have two nearly identical tasks, the only difference is the stimuli files. One was successfully posted on Pavlovia and functions perfectly in pilot mode but the second one isn’t working. When I click Pavlovia → New and create a new project, it will appear in my Pavlovia dashboard but instead of Platform PSYCHOJS and Version 2025.1.1 (which I see for the successful task) it says Platform UNKNOWN and Version is 0. If I try to sync again, it says there is no associated project and prompts me to create a new one; if I do create a new one, it says “this experiment already exists”. When I try putting it into Pilot mode and click ‘pilot’, I either receive a 403 FORBIDDEN error, but one time I was able to get it to say [Init] Please wait… I have deleted and reposted the same task about 20 times now, I have tried creating clean, new folders with only the stimuli, conditions files, psyexp script, and index.html in them in different places on my hard drive but nothing seems to work. I think I’m especially baffled because there are no differences between the successfully posted task the other one, and the one that posted successfully had a bunch of junk in the directory folder but still works just fine… Any ideas?!
Here are some tips that might help. Your init error will be because of the platform unknown, which is because the correct index/JS files haven’t been synced.
