Stuck with the Pavlovia login window when open Psychopy

What are you trying to achieve?: Use psychopy and sync with gitlab

What did you try to make it work?: Reinstall psychopy

What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:

I am stuck with the pavlovia login window when I open Psychopy 2025.2.4, even after I successfully logged in pavlovia (as shown in the screenshot). If I close the window, I get the error window as shown in the second screenshot.

I can create new experiments, but I cannot sync with my gitlab repository.

I appreciate any help.

Have you changed email address?

You could try logging in with your email address instead of your username.

Can't log in or out of Pavlovia

I tried both. Unfortunately, none of them works.

I changed my pavlovia username from ‘Weifan’ to ‘Weiwei’ around Dec 2025. And now I will encounter this error message everytime I log into Pavlovia. I wonder if this is related to my issue on Psychopy.

You could try changing your username back. Username changes don’t work very well.
