Description of the problem:
My experiment requires that participants view very short video clips and attempt to detect hazardous elements (scene gist). When hosted online, clips can jump or skip frames causing loss of critical information.
For my video stimulus, I have tried using a specified number of frames and times optimized for 60hz monitor (multiples of 16.6666667). Has anyone noticed or figured out a solution?

you will notice that some clips play several frames, where other clips appear to only show one frame. These clips look much smoother when the experiment is run locally.
