URL of experiment: interaction task [PsychoPy]
Description of the problem: My study can run properly on my own PC. However, when I uploaded it to Pavlovia and use Chrome to open it, all text stimuli will shown as random characters. Even the built-in instruction of Pavlovia “initializing the experiment” will shown as “hmhsh`khrhmf sgd dwodqhldms—”.
I switched to Safari and the problem disappeared. I checked the text encoding in my index.html file, which is the common used “utf-8”. I’m using “Open Sans”, which should be one of the safe fonts for online experiments.
Anyone know what happened?
