Pavlovia Pilot stuck on Init

Hi everyone,

I’m having persistent issues uploading and piloting my PsychoPy experiment online. I’ve tried:

• Deleting .git and .gitignore locally, creating fresh PsychoPy projects multiple times

• Exporting HTML/JS (index.html) with all resources

• Clearing server-side data / shelf on Pavlovia

• Using new folders and new project names

• Verifying port 443 is open

Initially I got a 403 error when syncing. After fixing that, the pilot now gets stuck on “Init — please wait a moment”.

It seems like a server-side or token issue. Has anyone seen this, and any suggestions for fixing it?

403 Forbidden error

I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error when I try and pilot or run my experiment, I have tried changing it to inactive and even creating a new experiment but neither seem to work. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi,

I am using PsychoPy builder 2025.1.1 and getting the same error when training to pilot the experiment on Pavlovia:

The experiment is working fine locally, but it gets stuck on Init when piloting online.

I have looked at this page Troubleshooting Online Studies — PsychoPy v2025.2.3 as suggested, but I don’t understand the error.

By advance, I would really appreciate a hand here.
