[PAVLOVIA] Internal Server Error when setting to PILOT STATUS

Description of the problem:

When trying to set the experiment (which I created and uploaded today) to piloting mode, I get this error in the console:

I then get this error when I try to pilot:

We could not find a record for experiment designer: undefined
Please check the name and try again. If the error persists, contact Pavlovia’s administrator.

Seems like similar issue have occurred in the past as well.

I’ve got the same problem. I see several other threads reporting the same issue.

Hello @unagi_pie and @ales,

We experienced a temporary issue owing to the timing of a scheduled change to the back-end code which, as luck would have it, coincided with the exact moment when one of the backend services restarted. We had not experienced that before. Now we know how to prevent that from happening again.
My apologies for the mishap!
The issue has been resolved as far as I can tell.
