Error when preparing to pilot the study

Hi there,

I am trying to set up an experiment online. This experiment has no code component and can run locally. However, after uploading the experiment to Pavlovia, I am not able to test it online by clicking the pilot button, with the error:

“Unable to prepare the pilot URL for this experiment.
If the error persists, contact Pavlovia’s administrator.” (as picture)

Since I cannot generate the URL for the experiment, the link to the dashboard is here: Pavlovia, but I don’t think I am able to make the dashboard public.

When I try to open the index.html file locally, the page starts with “initializing the experiment…”, but nothing shows up later. Is this normal, or potentially related to the problem earlier?

Hello @AmberG,

Are you still experiencing that error? As far as I can ascertain, the experiment is running at https://run.pavlovia.org/wanjia/contindiff/html/
One issue, however, is that the resource: sub_file/sub.csv is missing, as per the popup dialog and console error message:

FATAL dialog core.js 603 | {“origin”:“TrialHandler.importConditions”,“context”:“when importing condition: sub_file/sub.csv”,“error”:{“origin”:“ServerManager.getResource”,“context”:“when getting the value of resource: sub_file/sub.csv”,“error”:“unknown resource”}}
