Noise stimulus between routines

Hello,

I am using the noise stimulus for a movement experiment at university for my Bachelors degree :slight_smile:

I use the noise stimulus as a background in my experiment, my problem is, that between routines the Background gets refreshed which results in an irritating flickering (because the time between these routines is very short).
Does anyone know wether it is possible to freeze the noise stimulus between different routines, so it appears as a not changing noise background other then using an image or a noise screenshot?

If you create the noise stimulus in an early routine you could then use noise_stimulus.setAutoDraw(True) at the beginning of the next Routine.
