Greetings! I am trying to make an experiment on a memory task with “Forget” and “Remember” cues. I have 40 trials (text stimuli) in one looped routine. However, there’s an unwanted 15-second delay before one routine flashes. This is the same with between each routine that I have (welcome — 15-second delay — trial 1 — 15-second delay — trial 2 — 15-second delay).
Also, each text stimulus has a corresponding “Forget” or “Remember” cue. How do I randomize the order of each text stimulus while the cue remains the same?

regarding the unwanted delay, I assume that you specified a duration incorrectly, 15 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds.
Regarding the cue, add a column (cue) to your stimulus file (excel-file) which represents your cue (forget, remember).

Thank you, Jens! I first thought setting them up on the random option would result to unmatched words and cues. My cues are subliminally presented so I couldn’t say for sure. But I tried to change some settings again with your advice, and it worked fine! 
But now the experiment keeps on crashing.

it is often adviced to use supraliminal presentation times with subliminal presentation until the experiment is running properly and then to reduce the presentation time of the subliminal cue. Or to test run the experiment often, you start to see the cues
