When loading the experiment, the consent page (first page of study) can be seen however there is a loading bar at the bottom that counts about 10 seconds before participants can click to start the experiment itself. This is a new problem (started about a week ago) and the bar will load eventually after refreshing, but is only working at a rate of 1 per 10 refreshes. Tried pushing code again with no error or changes.
The loading page is where resources required to run the study are loaded. Does your study require any particularly large files? e.g. many images or long movies?
The study loads voice recordings. However between April-September there were no problems which is why we found this odd, and it requires progressively more and more refreshing to work (used to be around 5, now around 10).
There are about 60 recordings in a single set, and our code pulls one set from a list for each participant. Once some sets are removed this issue persists, but when all the sets were added back the loading bar worked again. Unsure what to do.
ok this sounds like there might be an issue with a specific file - if you open developer tools is there an error message in the console? (right click in the browser window > inspect > click on “console” in the side panel (in chrome)
