Has anyone idea how do you allow participants to generate individual codes so they can access the survey at time 1 ( pre intervention) and then at time 2 (post intervention) ? Is there a way to link the participants’ responses from time 1 and 2? while keeping it all anonymous?
I have a method for creating a participant ID based on email addresses, which isn’t back translatable. It does, of course, rely on the participant remembering which email address they used.

Not sure if this is helpful, but you could ask a question at the beginning of Survey Time 1 and then Survey Time 2, that the participant would know the answer to without having to remember a code. These could be matched later. Something as unique as possible: for example…
