Issue with PsychoPy 2020.2.4 using MacOS 15.0.1 Sequoia

Hello!

I tried downloading an older version of PsychoPy ( Release Release 2020.2.4 · psychopy/psychopy · GitHub ) but see the following error when I try open the Application:

I have also included the full error message here - Traceback (most recent call last): File “/Applications/PsychoPy.app/Contents/ - Pastebin.com

I understand that it might be that this old version is deprecated and not be compatible with newer versions of MacOS but wanted to ask if there was perhaps a way I could run this version on my computer? Thank you.

Try 2020.2.8

Hello, thanks for your quick response. I tried using 2020.2.8 as you suggested but now see a new error occuring:

For some additional context, it would be helpful if I could run this older version of PsychoPy for the experiment I am trying to modify/adapt as I believe that it was built on the 2020.2.4 version so I was hoping to find a version closer to this one for testing purposes.

In that case I would recommend that you use a more recent version. This post might help you pick one.
