Hello,
In my experimental process, the same participants needs to take part in 5 consecutive experiments over a period of 9 days, but each experiment has a different process and content. To this end, I have created 5 different experimental links. However, in this way, each participant would need to be allocated at least 5 credits. In order to control the experimental costs, is it possible for a participant to only consume 1 credit and also complete 5 experiments (since it’s the same group of participants, I am using a longitudinal study)?
I’m sorry but longitudinal studies need 1 credit for each session. Training sessions can be free, if you don’t want to collect data, by setting the final routine to never end.
Two ways to reduce your costs:
- Persuade your institution to buy a licence.
- Ask your participants to install PsychoPy so they can run your experiment locally for free and email you the data file.
hello,
Thank you for your help, but I encountered a problem when I first tried to purchase credits. I used a debit card from the Bank of China, which supports cross-border transactions. However, when I tried to make the payment, the platform displayed a message saying that the bank card does not support this type of purchase. My bank card is an international multi-currency debit card launched in China by the Bank of China in collaboration with VISA. I'm wondering if there is an issue that prevents me from purchasing credits. I apologize for troubling you again, but I urgently need to resolve this issue and look forward to your response.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Li Yi
