Free text in survey form or editable text box for long text strings

Hi,

I need to collect a long paragraph text entry from participants but whether I use the editable text box or the free text survey form, the text continues in a straight line whereas I would like it to remain inside the box and for the box to expand. Is there a way to do this?

Please could you confirm whether this related to an issue gathering text online or locally?

Locally the text is set to wrap by detecting spaces - so if you continue typing a long word with no spaces there will not appear to be a wrap, but if you type words with spaces then the text should wrap on the spaces. Does that work for your experiment?
