Eyelink CreateFile failed with 3

Hello All,

I have a builder experiment (PsychoPy 2024.2.1 standalone, Win10) that is using iohub to gather eye data using an EyeLink 1000Plus eyetracker. I am able to get past callibration and validation, but after that, the experiment crashes and I get the following error message:

CreateFile failed with 3
file size = 1329992
total bytes = 1329992
displayAPI: Disconnect
ioHub Server Process Completed With Code:  0

Interestingly, other times the experiment freezes and I get the following pop-ups:

I have edited the name of the data file through experiment settings to shorten the output to only participant ID, with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can post my builder code in the comments if that is needed as well.

In case anyone is here because they did the same thing I did- I’m just going to answer my own question with a reminder. Don’t run your eye tracker experiments in windowed mode because they won’t run :slight_smile: make sure to use full screen.
