Error when running experiment online

It still does not work. In PsychoPy I attached the same file, that was stored in a place that PsychoPy should have found easily as it also shows on GitLab. However…It still did not work on a different computer/laptop but my own. And, once I did finish the experiment on my own laptop, the results couldn’t be retrieved:

“error when preparing the result archive, exitStatus: 3072”
If the error persists, contact the pavlovia.org’s administrator.

I don’t know what to do/change anymore…

I want to run my experiment online, however, each time I try to do this on any other computer/laptop but my own, it gives an error:

Unfortunately, we encountered an error:

  • when importing condition: PsychoPy\trialsAnswers.xlsx (this xlsx document contains my conditions etc)
  • when getting the value of resource: PsychoPy\trialsAnswers.xlsx
  • unknown resource
    Try to run the experiment again. If the error persists, contact the experimenter.

Hi @Lisa_Lautenschutz, when you look in your resources folder in the html folder that PsychoPy created, is there a subdirectory called “PsychoPy” that contains your conditions file?

Hi, @dvbridges, thank you for replying so soon! My resources folder contains only the conditions file. So, do I need to create a subfolder inside the resources folder named “PsychoPy” containing the conditions file?

I think the conditions file was once in a folder called PsychoPy and has moved since you inserted it into your experiment. Go back to your loop settings, and browse again for the conditions file. Save and re-sync with pavlovia
