Psychopy produces an error when the experiment gets “too big”.
The small experiment includes three routines. Routine one presents words out of an excel file followed by an empty text-routine that functions as a pause between the single words. These two routines are put together in a loop. After that comes a sound-routine. If I add another pause-routine (empty text for a couple of secs) somewhere in the experiment, psychopy produces the following error:
9.4782 WARNING Couldn’t me4asure a consistent frame rate.
-Is your graphics card st to sync to vertical blank?

11.7481 WARNING psychopy.sound.initPyo could notfind microphone hardware; recording not available
There are no other processes running in the background.
Is psychopy overstepping the limits of my pc (the experiment is really small??)
all files are saved on a usb stick to be able to run the experiment on another pc. Error codes are similar if i save everything on my harddrive.
Thankful for any help or advice!
