Hi
I have a survey and when I go to download the data, the resulting csv only shows the first row of data. When I check on each participant the data are there and similarly when I open it in notepad but when I open it in excel, those rows are empty. I have tried opening the csv in r and they are similarly empty. All that are reported are surveyID, repsonseID, experimentId, sessionToken and participant. The data are definitely there - they come up in notepad.
Any ideas?
Thank you!!
Please could you PM me the data file so I can take a look?
Hi, did you manage to resolve this issue as I’m having the same problem. I was able to download my data in the summer but since I’ve reopened my survey to recruit more participants over the last couple weeks when I download the data the rows are empty except for survey ID, response ID etc. as reported above. I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks.
Hello, yes, I was quite foolish. I had changed the variable names and so the data file had the variable names from time one and from time two. Time 2 were just in columns AA, Ab etc., . I literally just hadn’t scrolled far enough right! Although I felt very foolish, I do hope this is the case for you as well!
Haha thank you!! You’re quite right, I scrolled to the right and there it all was. Feeling very foolish now as well!
Now I am glad I posted though because we can’t be only ones!!
