Circular response slider?

Hi everyone -

In my lab, we’re looking to run a new task where we show participants a random dot stimulus, and then subjects report the orientation of the dominant direction of dots by moving a slider to the corresponding motion direction on the circle.

Does this type of response device already exist in PsychoPy? If not, are there any existing solutions that would be fairly easy to implement?

It would be great to have a response device where subjects can click and drag a line that’s fixed to the outside of a circle, and then we they release the click, it saves the direction/orientation of that line. (Or alternatively, they could click on the circle, the line could appear which corresponds to that orientation, and then they could finalize via button press or something).

Thanks for the help in advance!
