Accessing all running data

URL of experiment: fyp2coded [PsychoPy]

Description of the problem: I’ve just stopped data collection today, however, when I switch the experiment to pilot I cannot access the reserved credits. My dashboard tells me I have 58 submitted participants, 39 aborted, and 12 reserved. How do I access all the groups of participants and collate them into one data set? When I download the data it comes as individual csv files.

Hello @sahana_s23

The csv-files are always individual files. Any statistic software will read multiple data files.

Thanks! How do i access aborted files though?

Aborted data may be saved if you turned on partial data saving. However, that would still cost a credit and you only have 59 credits consumed.

Hello @sahana_s23

Do you see any aborted session files in your gitlab repository? If not, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to access them.

Best wishes Jens

I can see the total number of session files including the aborted ones in my gitlab repository. In that case how can i extract the data from the aborted files?

Are you looking in your Gitlab repository or on the project page (as per your screenshot)?

gitlab repository. here are images if it makes it more clear!

Have you opened any of the log files for the participants without csv files?

nope. it’s strange because the aborted participants have csv files…not sure what to do next

What is the issue? Are the aborted csv files empty? If so, that is because the participants aborted at the start of the experiment, before any data was collected.

Hello @sahana_s23

You can download your repository if want to.

Thank you so much! I will let you know if there’s any issues!

Hey! so i downloaded the repository and it’s the saved data, not the 39 aborted files. does this mean its inaccessible? there is no way to retrieve those runs?

Hello @sahana_s23

I have no idea whether the 39 aborted sessions are in any way accessible.

Best wishes Jens
