5%-10% of trials do not terminate on first response keypress

Hi, having another issue where approx 5-10% of trials do not end on first keypress and require second response. RT for these trials is obviously much higher. Seems to be uncorrelated with any specific trial. Any ideas what might cause this?

Builder, Psychopy 2020.2.10 on Win10 Correction: NOT happening in PsychoJS/firefox on Pavlovia.

Could you send an example python script or builder project that reproduces the issue (5% - 10% of the time), or do you find that this occurs with any of the psychopy demo’s that require keyboard responses?

Hi @sol, thanks for the response. I’ve abandoned trying to debug this as it doesn’t appear to happen online under JS which is where I need to run the task.
