What are you trying to achieve?: Participants hear an audio stimulus and a countdown expires

Hi everyone,

this is the first time I am working with pychopy and I am trying to run an experiment with an audio stimulus and a time countdown. The experiment starts without any problems but the countdown stops somewhere in the middle (time varies) and the whole experiment crashes eventually. The error message says: WindowsError: exception: access violation reading 0x00000010.

Can anyone help me to find a solution for this?

Are you using 32-bit python? I wasn’t and had similar errors, but the installed 32-bit and it’s better
