What are you trying to achieve?:
I know this thread: Size of visual.Window() still influenced by dialog box and the thread before, but the problem is still present.
When I define a window size of for example 800 x 600 then this size appears on my notebook monitor if an only if I activate the “Show info dialog”. If I deselect that info dialog the window is much bigger.
When I use full-screen window then stimulus sizes (given in cm) are approximately correct if and only if I acivate the “Show info dialog”. Otherwise, stimulus sizes are much to large. This holds true for stimulus dimensions in cm and in pix. Height or norm are not affected.
Usually while testing I deselect the info dialog but when running the experiment with participants I need the info dialog. You see the problem…
