Wave files not playing audio in audio recording

Hi,

For my experiment, I need participants to audio record their thoughts at specified trials. Everything is working great except when I open the audio wave file, no sound is played. The recording is the same duration as the recording time. When playing it, it appears to play just fine, except no sound emerges, as if my computer is on mute (which of course I’ve double checked and it was not).

I’ve seen this problem on a few other forums but there has not been an answer yet that I could find.

Please can you give more details? (e.g. operating system and psychopy version?)
