Unable to start psychopy after the power accidently cut off

PsychoPy version : psychopy 2024.1.4 and 2024.1.5
Standard Standalone? (y/n) :yes
What are you trying to achieve?:
to open/start the Psychopy.
I accidently cut the power of my computer while the psychopy builder was still on, after that I am not able to start the psychopy. There is no flash screen or black screen, it just simply wouldn’t start the application.

What did you try to make it work?:
I have restart the computer , and even reinstall psychopy several times, yet the application is still down.

For update, I tried to open the PsychoPy Experiment (.psyexp) file of my experiment. It pop out a black screen with a bunch of 0x00/0x00.

Does that mean that you have managed to open PsychoPy now but that particular psyexp file is corrupt?

When I can’t open PsychoPy I try deleting C:\Users\morys\AppData\Roaming\psychopy3\appData.cfg

You should be able to find your AppData folder by putting %appdata% into Windows Explorer
