Unable to send triggers to EEG (actichamp 32 channel) and visualise on Recorder app through parallel port

Hello,

I am unable to send triggers to EEG using parallel port. Although the code does not show up any error and is running successfully, the triggers are not being sent to the EEG device. Is there anything else, that should be checked besides the port address for sending triggers? I have tried the solutions mentioned in the below attached links
1-Full odball experiment including triggers for actichamp
2-Communicating via a Parallel Port — PsychoPy v2024.2.3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
