Unable to pilot or run either new or forked experiments

URL of experiment:

Description of the problem:

Iif I fork any existing experiment (that are running for other users), or if I initialise a new repository and do a clean commit of the archive from another repo. I am unable to run the experiments in either “pilot” or “running” mode. In the recruitment pane no URL is generated. It is blank after "URL: ".

When I click either pilot or run I get the following error:
“We could not find a record for experiment designer: undefined
Please check the name and try again. If the error persists, contact Pavlovia’s administrator.”

Did you delete the hidden .git folder when you made a new copy?

Yes. I used git archive to create a clean export of the git repository before committing it to gitlab.

Hello @wakecarter and @ales,

We experienced a temporary issue owing to the timing of a scheduled change to the back-end code which, as luck would have it, coincided with the exact moment when one of the back-end services restarted. We had not experienced that before. Now we know how to prevent that from happening again.
My apologies for the mishap!
The issue has been resolved as far as I can tell.

Not for me: https://pavlovia.org/agleontyev/sst_edt_nedt_ddt_caars

Do I need to delete and reupload it?

Can you change its status back to Inactive and then Piloting or Running? That should sort it out.

@apitiot it’s working again for me. Thanks!
