Sudden Failure to Update JS Files in PsychoPy

Hi,
I am currently preparing an online experiment using PsychoPy.
When I update the content of a code component, PsychoPy does not reflect the changes in the JS file.

Even after deleting the previous JS file, the issue persists. The problem starts suddenly and resolves on its own just as unexpectedly.

This issue occurs intermittently, and I haven’t identified a specific pattern or trigger. I’m using the latest version . Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Is your issue

  1. The local JS file isn’t created?
  2. The remote JS file on Gitlab isn’t updated?
  3. The experiment on Pavlovia fails to use the updated JS file?

I checked the JavaScript file (marked by a red rectangle in the attached picture) and found that the updates were not reflected.

I also checked using the developer tools and confirmed that no updates had been applied.

The date and time on the JS file in your OneDrive suggests that the JS file is being updated.

You haven’t answered about Gitlab yet but I would recommend trying an incognito tab.
