Standalone dropdown menus displayed twice in Preview/Run

I am currently building a standalone Pavlovia Survey and have encountered the same issue reported in this earlier thread: https://discourse.psychopy.org/t/dropdown-menus-displayed-twice-during-pilot-but-not-in-preview/39223

All standalone questions with "type": "dropdown" are displayed correctly in Preview, but show two input fields in both Pilot and Run mode. Dropdown cells inside matrixdropdown and matrixdynamic questions, as well as multi-select dropdowns, are displayed correctly.

Adding "searchEnabled": false does not change the behaviour. The JSON contains each affected dropdown only once.

Could you confirm whether this is a known issue with the current Pavlovia Survey runner and whether a fix or recommended workaround is available?

This is a known issue and I’m afraid it hasn’t been a priority to fix since it only affects the aesthetics. I’ve added a link to this thread from the issue.
