Skips initial trial in Pavlovia but not in PsychoPy

I’m currently piloting my study on Pavlovia, after everything worked fine in PsychoPy. I have a series of 3 trials where an audio is presented, as well as an editable textbox and some sliders. Every time that I pilot test on Pavlovia, the first trial is not presented. I know that it is technically there, because the results .csv file that I receive shows the trial audio file name and details, but it never presents the actual routine. It’s not an issue with the audio file, as the trials are in a randomized order and it always skips over the first one. Is there a quick fix for this?

I’m a beginner to PsychoPy and this is my first experimental set-up as a first year PhD student.

Replying to my own comment just to add- it doesn’t seem to be limited to this loop. All loops in my experiment will skip over the first trial. Is there something within the code that would make sense?

I was also having this issue when I was using PsychoPy version 2024.2.3 on Mac. I downgraded to version 2023.2.3 by uninstalling the 2024.2.3 version off of my computer and then downloading the 2023.2.3 release from the github releases page, and this fixed the issue for me.

try to downgrade to 2024.1.4 or to the lastet PsychoPy-version 2024.2.4.
