RDK using direction from condition

Hi! I’m new to psychopy and creating an experiment with the RDK stimuli. I want to vary the direction based on a condition list uploaded in my routine. I named the condition: WDir with a value of 0 or 180. When specifying the direction I entered $WDir.

Each time I try to do this I recieve the message:
looks like your variable ‘WDir’ in ‘dir’ should be set to update.

I am unsure what this means and what I need to change.

could it be that you forgot to change the property orientation from constant to set every repeat
