Problem with uploading a PsychoPy task to the Pavlovia

Description of the problem:
Hi, everyone! I currently face a problem that I could not upload a PsychoPy (the version I use is 2021.1.2) task to the Pavlovia website. I tried either creating a new project or synchronising the task but failed in both ways. It said that PsychoPy encountered an unhandled internal error and under “Details” it said:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File“/Applications/PsychoPy.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.6/psychopy/app/pavlovia_ui/project.py”, line 161, in submitChanges
AttributeError: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘project’

But in the Experiment Runner Stdout it seemed to work:

Pushing to Pavlovia for the first time…
Branch ‘master’ set up to track remote branch ‘master’ from ‘Sign in · GitLab’.
Success!

I am not sure why this happened and it would be really appreciated if anyone could help me solve the problem.

Best regards,
Lei

That is on my list of versions to avoid

Thank you for your reply! I upgraded the version to 2021.2.0 but still got the same problem. Could you please let me know if there are any other sources of issues? Thank you in advance!

What made you choose that version instead of the latest version?

If you create a new experiment from scratch (a very simple one will do) then can you sync that to Pavlovia?

Best wishes
