Hi, I hope you are well. Could you please assist me. I am trying to pilot my experiment before I take it to run, but whenever I Pilot:Run it on desktop using the current python script while piloting with features on it does pilot in the way I want it to.
However, whenever I pilot it in Browser it doesn’t. In fact, it can show the first image and then it will show the text attached in the picture below. It basically does not pilot at all as it gives me an error. But it doesn’t make sense because I didnt change anything from when I piloted it through desktop and through the browser.
Also, I wanted to ask how many credits do I need to run an experiment 1 time. Like maybe for one participant. Because I bought a few credits but it still says there aren’t enough credits.
Your response and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Hello @Mataviola
This error message indicates that Pavlovia cannot find the specified file. This is most likely due to a spelling or capitalisation error. Searching the forum for this error will reveal several solutions.

Hi Jens, I hope you are well. The thing is, the experiment is playing on desktop but its not on browser. And I have verified that the items are similar, named in the same way even in the excel that is in the loop.
Have you added the resources in Experiment Settings / Online / Additional Resources ?
Perhaps you have bought credits but haven’t allocated any to this experiment. No credits are needed for piloting.

Hello @Mataviola
Did you try running the experiment locally in a browser, in addition to following wakecarter’s tips? Did you search for spaces in the filenames in your condition file?
Best wishes Jens

Hi, yes, this is the condition file (the excel of the loop). Everything is okay. There are 2 folders that have the target and distractor objects. Each of these folders have the same items that are there in their position (excel), and they are named in that exact way.
Also, this is just confusing because it is piloting in desktop and not in browser, but nothing has been changed whenever I try pilot it in both these places
Also, I forgot to mention. It’s not that it doesn’t pilot in browser at all. It does, but it probably does it for 1 object with its distractor and then it will stop and not continue again. And it’s different bobjects at that
Thank you for the credit feedback, I’ll definetely make use of it when I run the test.
