What are you trying to achieve?:
In my experiment participants will be rating a series of food pictures based on liking and willingness to pay. Rather than have 2 separate scales I’m trying to have both questions and scales appear under each picture.
What did you try to make it work?:
I tried to put 2 separate rating scales in the same routine.
What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:
They overlapped initially. I then tried to reposition them so that one was above the other using ‘pos=’ but that stops it from running alltogether.
Hi @jemmasedgmond, have you tried using the new Slider component? You should be able to set the position of the Slider using the Slider dialog box. Also, check out the ratingsNew demo in PsychoPy Builder demos for an example of what can be done with Sliders.

Thanks @dvbridges - I wasn’t sure which was the better option.
My ratings are from 1-100 for liking and £0-£3 for willingness to pay so I wasn’t sure whether the rating scale would be better based on the number of potential responses.
No problem. Slider is more up to date and easier to configure than Rating Scale component, so I would go with that.
