Microphone component making PsychoPy freeze

What are you trying to achieve?:
I have a routine at the end of my experiment using the microphone component and it freezes the app about 25-50% of the time. There is no error message. Just “Application Not Responding”

What did you try to make it work?:
I’ve tried updating PsychoPy and making sure that PsychoPy is the only application running at the time.

Have you got transcription ticked in the microphone component? The dictionary can take time to load for the first component for Whisper.
