One of our students is making an experiment using multiple surveys in German.
While the individual surveys’ navigation buttons have successfully been changed to German, when all the surveys are inserted in an online experiment their “Complete” buttons remain in English even though they should be in German. (ETA: I’ve removed the survey and experiment links as Wake has added demos below, and to allow the student to move onto data collection without getting extra data from here.)
Is this a setting that needs changed within PsychoPy or the individual Pavlovia surveys? Or is it a bug?
Thank you, unfortunately that’s what we did - you’ll see in the survey itself it works. However, when added to an online experiment with other surveys, the previous and next buttons stay translated, but the complete button doesn’t (it reverts to English). I’m not sure why it does this as it works fine in the surveys when they are run separately.
Sorry, I missed the point that this does not work when linking multiple surveys. I have no idea why this happens. But why are you linking these surveys? Could you just have different pages, proceed only if the GDPR is accepted and finish the survey otherwise?
The surveys are used within an experiment which has different conditions for different groups, so there’s a survey, then some PsychoPy content, then another survey and so on, if that makes sense.
That’s good to know, thanks for doing that Wake! For now I’ll have the student add some instructions for participants re buttons so they can move on with data collection, but hopefully this isn’t too tricky to fix.
