What are you trying to achieve?:
My experiment involves manipulating the size of the upper and lower half of a body independently. This is intended to be an online experiment, where participants monitors may not be of a fixed size. I need 1. the two images to align at the middle (so that it creates the illusion of one continuous body, rather than two images being manipulated separately) and 2. for the two images to not be stretched or distorted from their original size, as this is an experiment looking at body perception.
In case the explanation of the stimuli didn’t make sense, here’s a very rough example:
What did you try to make it work?:
I had the default settings on and had the images aligning on my computer. Naturally, when someone else tested my experiment on their monitor a different size, these images no longer aligned!
My question is, what would be the best way to go about having my images in a fixed position and size, irrespective of what monitor it will be hosted on as this will be an online experiment.
Any advice is much appreciated.
