Hi there,
I’m having an issue where very occasionally when loading images, instead of the image popping up, instead pops a black image which has “image.png” in red font diagonally across the image. The black image is the same dimensions as the original image, just with no information and the text across it. The images are Windows BMP Images (~2MB each), and are being loaded in trials through an excel stimulus sheet (screenshot attached), about 10 of them. They are all loaded in an ISI period (0.1s) before the first one is shown. The black image with the red text only shows up on the first image and never on subsequent images.
I haven’t been able to get a screenshot of it because it only comes up sometimes. But it looks roughly like this:
OS: Mac M3, Sequoia 15.4.1
PsychoPy version: 2024.2.4 Py 3.10
Standard Standalone Installation? Yes
Do you want it to also run online? No
What are you trying to achieve?:
Getting the image to show up as the file instead of the file place-holder
What did you try to make it work?:
- Adding/taking away ISI
- Making image files smaller
Link to the most relevant existing thread you have found:
None
ISI loading:
“Listening” routine which has the image load
