How to access pavlovia version 2025.5 for RTL surveys?

I found this post, but I struggle to understand how to apply it to my surveys.

I tried to changing the URL when the survey is running, but it returns the “not found“ error. I tried to change the link itself from 2024.2.0 to 2025.5 through dev tools, but it still opens the old version.

Dear Anna,

Is this what you are looking for? You need to make a new experiment then change the setting. I don’t think it will be happy with a survey that is already running.

Thank you!

However, I don’t have 2025 version options available, only three options from the 2024. I mean, the list of versions to choose from after the the survey is ready and the link is generated. So, I’m trying to understand if I’m missing some other way to do it.

The LinkedIn post suggests manually changing the URL, and therefore I don’t think it is available for embedded surveys. What is the URL to your survey?

Yes, I think you are right.

I have several, but for example: https://run.pavlovia.org/pavlovia/survey-2024.2.0/?surveyId=7f37b204-cb5e-41e8-ba36-fa596f6a0264

Hi Anna,

This is my bad - typo in the post sorry!! But here is an example Pavlovia Survey 2025.2.0

so it should be “2025.2.0” in the url

Hello!

Thank you so much! I tried and it worked perfectly. I even edited the generated link in dev tools. I hope it works in my psychopy experiment.

Hi Anna,

You might need to install a 2025.2 release of psychopy (beta version here) for the newer release of surveys to work as an embedded survey (though I still need to test this so if you do test please let us know!).

Alternatively you might need to daisy chain with youe experiment rather than embed.
