Hi,

Currently if I create a new field in the Exp Info section, it does not accept any values.

In the example below, I created a new field called hand_preference and if I type left in the box (or anything else) in the red circle, this will disappear if I close the dialogue box (by pressing Apply and OK) or I simply click on another tab in the same dialogue box and then return to the Basic tab again.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Updating to the newest version (2026.2.0) solved the problem. I will leave the post as is in case someone comes across the same issue.
