Custom built response devices

Hello,

New to Psychopy. I would like to use Psychopy to run an experiment where I measure the output of a custom made response device that measures a force sensor and and optical position sensor to study force control. Is it possible to use the output of custom built sensors in Psychopy? Could anyone recommend an example I could study?

You might want to talk a little bit more about what tools to use and generally psychopy provides some tools like this, such as
