What are you trying to achieve?
Trying to play multiple audio files at once, participants will input keyboard responses based on what they hear (measuring RT and Acc). I made this file on my personal Mac (MacOS Big Sur, PsychoPy 2021.2.3, Standalone), and it works just fine. But porting it over to the computers I intend to run subjects on, the audio files sound very crackly, loud, and full of static.
What did you try to make it work?:
Tried re-sampling audio files to fit with PTB, did not solve the problem. Tried using all three default audio drivers, and all four default audio libraries. Did not solve the problem.
What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:
No error message, just the distorted audio (buzzing/static). Notably, the problem is absent at the beginning of the experiment and seems to slowly creep in and get worse over time.
