Crackling sound with Pyo

Hi everyone,

I have been running my experiment in coder for some time without an issue. I noticed today that there is crackling sound (click noises) in my audio stimuli. I am using Pyo and an external Focusrite soundcard. The audio that I am playing is 44.000Hz and 24bit-rate. I thought that it might be related with buffer size or the default settings in Pyo, so could you please advice on how to check the default settings for Pyo and how to change buffer-bit rate? Or could this be something else that I am missing?

I am new to Psychopy, so any advice or information would be highly appreciated!

Hi Tasos,
I have the same problem. Have you found any solution to this?
One thing that helped me with crackling sounds was adding some silence (zeros) at the and of each wave file used, but I still have seemingly random crackling sounds in every other trial.
